David K. Lu

Mr. Lu oversees site acquisitions, design development, and financing for VIVO's development projects, as well as all strategic planning for the company's development division.  Mr. Lu's creative vision and attention to details has resulted in designs that have earned numerous awards and accolades within the industry.  In addition to the aforementioned, Mr. Lu took the lead in the formation, start-up and growth of VIVO's affiliated business entities, and still serves in an advisory capacity to each company's respective manager.  These affiliated companies include: Foursite Consulting, LLC (March of 1997), Optimus Civil Design Group, Inc. (June of 2002), VIVO Business Services, Inc. (July of 2003), and Optimus Survey Services, Inc. (February of 2004). 

Prior to forming VIVO, Mr. Lu was a development manager for developers of single family subdivisions, condominium communities, and luxury manufactured home communities.  During this time, he supervised land acquisitions, entitlements, design and construction.  Mr. Lu also has experience with the complexities of multi-phase master planned communities following his involvement in noteworthy projects such as Del Webb’s Anthem Phoenix, Desert Ridge in north Phoenix, and Superstition Mountain east of Apache Junction. 

Having graduated Summa Cum Laude, Mr. Lu is a proud graduate of Arizona State University’s highly recognized Construction Engineering program and a former ASU Leadership Scholar and ASU Devil’s Advocate. He has also been involved with the Urban Land Institute, Valley Partnership, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
